The understanding skills of the puris, combined with their many physical specificities, is a constant source of study for the eco-scientist group. While drifting through the galaxy in search of new adventures, the little puri, having crossed paths with Saand, crossed paths with the scientists. The group of puris quickly explained the situation, and the puri tried to contribute to the inter-dimensional communication trials. As soon as the group of 217 was formed, something remarkable happened. The puri's exceptional communication skills, combined with those of the 217 other puri, created a device capable of communicating with the 15 puri and the tigu who had crossed the rift... the purigotchi.
