# Initial Supply and Distribution

The original supply of **Puri** was set at **4.26 billion** tokens, with a thoughtful distribution plan designed to engage key community members and contributors:

* **20%** allocated to the **Top 100 Polis Lockers**, with each receiving **8.52 million Puri**.
* **20%** allocated to the **Top 100 Atlas Lockers**, each receiving **8.52 million Puri**.
* **20%** distributed among the **Top 100 active Discord members**, each receiving **8.52 million Puri**.
* **20%** set aside for **Content Creators and Developers**, to be distributed via a custodial account or multisig wallet.
* **20%** placed into the initial **liquidity pool (LP)**.

The **initial LP tokens** are securely locked within the **Star Atlas DAO**, further ensuring the integrity and security of the token’s foundation.
