# Puri Tokenomics

#### The **Puri Token** was originally created as a way to give back to the **Star Atlas** community, especially to the community creators and developers who worked with passion and commitment without financial compensation. What started as a meme coin to celebrate Puri and foster community engagement has now evolved into a foundational asset that supports broader Web3 projects, including the transition to **Purigotchi Tokenomics**.
